
Bahrain has been elected as a permanent member of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC)'s Broadcasting Regulatory Authorities Forum (IBRAF). The election of Bahrain, , represented by the State Ministry for Information Affairs, occurred during the kingdom's participation in the third meeting of IBRAF which convened in Morocco on December 19 and 20 under the auspices of King Mohammed VI. The participating delegations reviewed their experiences in organising radio and television broadcasting. The session focused mainly on protecting youngsters and teenagers from misusing the audio-visual media. Morocco's High Audi-visual Communication Authority was voted President of 2014 forum.
