
The Kingdom of Bahrain affirms that the official membership of the State of Palestine on the International Court of Justice is considered a key event and a historical step of paramount importance in the Brotherly Palestinian people’s struggle and exerted strenuous diplomatic and judicial efforts towards regaining full rights.
The Kingdom of Bahrain hails the huge efforts and qualitative steps taken by President Mahmoud Abbas of the brotherly Palestinian State, who, despite the substantial difficulties and Israel’s obstinacy, remained committed to transparent negotiations and legitimate means in his struggle to restore the Palestinian people’s full rights, decide on Palestine’s destiny and establish the Palestinian independent State.
The Kingdom of Bahrain reiterates its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and its belief that the just and comprehensive peace can only be achieved with full Israeli pullout from the Arab territories that were occupied in 1967 and with the establishment of the Palestinian State, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the legitimate international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
