
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee met Qatar's Prime Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, on the side-lines of opening the Association of National Olympic Committees general assembly (ANOC's GA) meeting held under the patronage of the Qatari Prime Minister.
Thomas Bach, President of International Olympic Committee; HH Shaikh Joaan bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, President of Qatar Olympic Committee; Shaikh Ahmed Al Fahad Al Sabah, President of the Association of National Olympic Committees; and, Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation attended the meeting.
HH Shaikh Nasser expressed his pride in the progress and development of Bahrain-Qatar ties in all fields, that embody the fraternal bonds the pillars of which have been consolidated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Amir of Qatar HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
HH Shaikh Nasser asserted the significance of the intensification of cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries and pushing the joint strategic projects to serve the aspirations and ambitions of the both brotherly peoples, lauding advancement and development of Qatar in all fields.
