
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Forum will be held in Bahrain late April. Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani will patronise the key symposium under the theme "Achieving International Standards".
He stressed the ministry's drive to disseminate the culture of quality in cooperation with all official establishments and encourage companies to enhance the standard of their products and make them exportable to the international markets.
Bahrain Quality Society Chairman Dr. Khalid Jassim Bumtea thanked the minister for patronising the forum which will consolidate the partnership between the public and private sectors. "ISO Forum will contribute to fostering quality culture among leading companies as well as medium and small enterprises(SMES)", he said, pointing out that the symposium targets leading entrepreneurs and decision-makers in the public and private sectors and all those seeking to achieve the sustainable competitiveness of their companies.
