
Bahrain has asserted its support for the efforts of the Egyptian people, armed forces and police in combating terrorism and extremism, stressing its categorical rejection of any attempt to hamper the presidential electoral process. In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today, Bahrain underlined its keen follow-up on the presidential elections in Egypt and the massive turnout of the Egyptian people to cast their ballots and elect their president within the framework of the roadmap. "Bahrain hails enforcing the will of the Egyptian people and their right to choose their leadership in this historic phase," the Foreign Ministry said in its statement, underlining the need for concerted efforts to continue the national march and boost security, stability and growth in Egypt.
