
Deputy Chief of Public Security Major-General Naji Fahd Al-Hashil, and in the presence of the Russian Ambassador to Bahrain Victor Smirnov, patronised a graduation ceremony upon conclusion of a 5-week Russian language basics training course organised by the Royal Academy of Police.
The Deputy Public Security Chief has expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and the Chief of Public Security for their constant keenness to provide all training and educational needs of the Bahraini security personnel, noting that implementing advanced scientific and training programmes aims to upgrade the efficiency of the Interior Ministry’s employees.
He lauded the advanced level of the on-going cooperation between the Interior Ministry and the Russian Embassy in Manama, which will boost the existing Bahraini-Russian friendship relations. He commended the efforts exerted by those in charge of the course, wishing them and the graduates further success in serving the homeland.
The Russian envoy described holding the course as an "outstanding" step that will open up new vistas of bilateral cooperation for the common interests of the two friendly countries.
