
Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Lieutenant-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa attended the "Bridge 15" drill, a mobilisation exercise conducted by the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF), with the participation of the Saudi Royal Navy.
The Chief-of-Staff was briefed on the stages and parts of the drill, implemented as part of BDF's plans to achieve optimum coordination, cooperation and complementarity in the field of naval exercises and exchange military and combat experiences between the two sides.
The drill also aims to upgrade the combat readiness of the navy forces in the two brotherly countries.
He highlighted the importance of such drills in honing the military skills and upgrading the performance of the participants, and raising the combat performance of the two navies.
