
Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Shura Council's Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee Chairperson Sawsan Taqawi, Deputy Chairman Dr. Abdulaziz Al Ajman and members Dr. Mohammed Al Khuzaie, Nancy Khedouri and Khalid Al Musalam
Deputy Premier congratulated the committee members on the Royal trust, affirming that the government works on promoting the spirit of cooperation and trust with the legislative branch and is keen on enhancing constant coordination with the Parliament and Shura Council so as to consolidate democracy and implement the provisions of the constitution achieved as a result of the reform project spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa
He underscored the legislative branch's role in maintaining the Kingdom's gains and protecting its national security.
Sawsan Taqawi and members expressed their thanks to Deputy Premier, pointing out that the committee values highly the cooperation between the government and the legislative branch.
They affirmed its commitment to defending Bahrain and its national security, out of its patriotic duty.
