Bahraini Deputy Premier receives Minister of Culture

Deputy Premier His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa met with the Minister of Culture Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa and congratulated her on the selection of Manama as the Arab Cultural Capital for the year 2012. The Deputy Premier praised the efforts which culminated in this achievement which consecrates the Kingdom of Bahrain's deep-rooted cultural and historical legacy. On the other hand, the Minister of Culture Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the support and assistance from His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa and updated him on the programs and functions which the Ministry of Culture plans to implement during celebrations of Manama as the Arab Culture Capital for the year 2012 and she emphasized that the event will coincide with the inauguration of numerous projects that boost the Kingdom of Bahrain's position and its historical and cultural legacy.
