
Bahrain Institute of Political Development (BIPD) Executive Director Dr. Yasser Al-Alawi received members of the National Youth Campaign – "Let’s Vote"- at the BIPD headquarters in Umm Al-Hassam.
The initiative is part of the field visits lined up by members of the campaign in a bid to co-opt Bahraini youngsters and engage them to play a positive role in national arenas.
Dr. Al-Alawi stressed the vocation of the think tank to tailor programmes which cater to the category of youngsters in Bahrain and foster their cultural and political awareness so as to understand their national duties and constitutional rights.
In a statement on the sidelines of the visit, he underscored the importance of bolstering community partnership between Bahrain’s political development think tank and the non-governmental institutions. Dr. Al-Alawi underlined the crucial importance of directing young Bahrainis to take part in Bahrain’s parliamentary and municipal elections and contribute to building Bahrain’s future.
