
Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met in his office this morning, in the presence of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ghanim Fadhul Al Buainain, his Jordanian counterpart Nasser Judeh, currently on an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Shaikh Khalid welcomed Mr. Judeh and affirmed Bahrain’s pride of the brotherly bonds that link both countries and peoples at all levels, ascribing their strength to the exceptional care accorded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.
He also commended the constant and indefatigable efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in serving the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations.
The Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs took pride in his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, which he said, falls within the framework of further cementing bilateral brotherly relations between the two kingdoms and peoples.
He also hailed the success of the parliamentary and municipal elections in Bahrain and said they have testified to the popular support for the reform and development process, led by His Majesty the King, wishing Bahrain and its people every future success and progress.
The two sides reviewed the ever- progressing bilateral ties in all domains as well as regional causes and challenges, affirming the need for continued consultations and coordination vis-à-vis those issues to help maintain the region’s stability and security.
