
Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed AlKhalifa met in Cairo today Egyptian Head of the Constitution AmendmentCommittee Amr Moussa. He conveyed to him the greetings of Bahrain leadership andbest wishes of continuous success.The Foreign Minister also conveyed the leadership's appreciation of the relentlessefforts exerted by Moussa in chairing the committee in charge of drafting Egypt'snew constitution which is considered as a promising step on the path of reform anddevelopment so as to meet the aspirations of the Egyptian people for a brighter andmore prosperous future.He also voiced Bahrain's pride in historic and solid bilateral relations, reiteratingBahrain's unwavering support to Egypt and the Egyptian people in achieving theiraspirations. He wished Egypt success in the next presidential elections in order tocontinue assuming its pioneering role in leading pan-Arab work and defending Arabissues.On his part, Amr Moussa extended his greetings to Bahrain leadership, wishingBahrain further progress and prosperity and praising its support to Egypt.Both sides discussed regional and international issues of common interest.
