
Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has paid a visit to the Mourning Majlis of the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdulla bin Abdulmalik Al-Shaikh to offer condolences following the sad demise of the late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Foreign Minister recalled with utmost pride and gratitude the historic stances of the late Saudi Monarch, and constant support to the Kingdom of Bahrain on all occasions to enable it to face all challenges and threats, which, he said, had contributed to consolidating Bahrain’s security and stability.
He affirmed that the late King embodied an outstanding model of leadership, noting that he had prioritised his country’s interests and dedicated all his life in the service of humanity.
He explained that the late King had spearheaded an advanced development approach that covered all fields, which entitled Saudi Arabia to become a leading country with an influencial role in making international decisions and protecting Arab and Islamic interests.
Shaikh Khalid lauded the visionary initiatives of the late leader at the local, regional and global arenas, stressing that the late King Abdulla will always be remembered across the Arab and Islamic nations and the whole world for his unique way in addressing key issues and challenges.
He said the historic stances of late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in support of Bahrain’s security and stability would be recorded in the Kingdom’s history and engraved in the hearts of all Bahrainis.
The Foreign Minister asserted that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud would follow in the steps of the late King and carry on enhancing the progress march in Saudi Arabia, serving the Two Holy Mosques, strengthening Arab and Islamic solidarity and championing just Arab and Islamic causes.
He prayed Allah Almighty to rest the soul of the late King Abdulla in eternal peace, and guide King Salman, Crown Prince and Deputy Premier HRH Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister HRH Prince Mohammmed bin Nayef Al Saud on the right path to bring about more progress and prosperity to Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people.
