Bahraini foreign and interior ministers receive UAE official

Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received here today the Director-General of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi, who offered him a copy of his book entitled: "The Prospects of the American Era .. Sovereignty and Influence in the New World Order." The Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed the UAE official, praising the depth of fraternal distinguished relations between the two peoples and countries, thanks to the directives of leadership in both countries. He also referred to the efforts being exerted by the UAE to safeguard the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain. For his part, Al Suwaidi thanked Sheikh Khalid on the good hospitality accorded to him, commending the fraternal historic relations between the UAE and Bahrain. He stressed that the UAE led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, aims to further upgrade the relations between the two countries and peoples. The two sides discussed scientific research cooperation. The Bahraini Interior Minister Staff Lt. General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, also received Dr. Al Suwaidi, appreciating the UAE's leadership and government roles in stabilising the Kingdom of Bahrain. "The support reflects clearly the extent of solidarity and GCC cohesion to tackle national security challenges." Sheikh Rashid expressed Bahrain's government and people recognition to the role of Emirati martyr Tareq Al Shehhi, who was killed while on duty in Bahrain, stressing that the Kingdom would leave no stone unturned to track down perpetrators to bring them to book. For his part, Al Suwaidi stressed the UAE role in backing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people, commending the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa of Bahrain and Bahrain Crown Prince to continue the reformation and preserve values of national unity and coexistence among all fabrics of community. He wished prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain amid efforts of the leadership and people to ensure stability and security.
