Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa held talks this evening in Doha with Qatari Premier and Foreign Minister Shaikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al-Thani on bolstering bilateral relations and promoting cooperation in all fields. Shaikh Khalid described the visit as in line with the desire of both countries to strengthen relations towards meeting joint ambitions and hopes. He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Qatari Amir Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani for their firm belief in the joint goals and common destiny as well as their keenness on ushering in a new phase based on solidarity and closely-knit relations. Qatari Premier and Foreign Minister Shaikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al-Thani hosted a dinner banquet in honour of Shaikh Khalid and the accompanying delegation. Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa earlier arrived in Doha and was welcomed by Qatari Premier and Foreign Minister Shaikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al-Thani. He is accompanied by a number of businessmen to discuss boosting economic and investment relations and setting up joint ventures whose dividends will benefit both peoples.
