Bahraini former Central Municipality staff situation discussed

Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Issam bin Abdulla Khalaf received here today MP Mohsen Al Bakri, in the presence of Municipal Council member Badr Al-Dossary.
The meeting focused on a services and issues related to the Southern Governorate citizens.
MP Al Bakri tackled the issue of the employees of former Central Municipal Council, and inquired about their future employment status after the cancellation of the Central Municipality and its municipal council.
The minister affirmed his personal keenness to follow up on the issue through appointing the municipal staff and ensuring their rights, noting that the committee set up by the ministry to follow up on the issue will submit its recommendations soon.
MP Al Bakri and municipal council member Al-Dossary expressed sincere thanks to the Minister for his efforts to preserve the rights of the employees and develop municipal work across the kingdom.
