
Capital Governor, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, has stressed protecting Ashura rituals against incitement and calls of hatred and avoiding politicizing religious discourse, highlighting readiness, in collaboration with service agencies, to provide all the needs of Hussaini processions, in line with Interior Minister's directives to enhance security and ensure safety of citizens and residents on this religious occasion.
This came during presiding the second consultative meeting on discussing Hussaini processions administrative and regulatory matters , in the presence of representatives from Jaafari Waqf Council, Hussaini Processions Authority, heads of Ma'atems and security and service agencies.
He stressed the security force's presence during this religious occasion aims to protect and provide assistance to Hussaini processions during practicing Hussaini rituals and ensure smooth flow of the Hussaini processions.
Parties participated in the meeting commended the Capital Governor's support provided for facilitating practicing Hussaini processions.
