
Minister of Interior Lt-Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa has condemned the terror attack against Saudi border guards in Saudi Arabia that killed three border guards and injured two others.
Extending sincere condolences to Saudi Interior Minister, HRH Prince Mohammad bin Nayif bin Abdulaziz, and the families of the victims, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery, the Minister hailed the Saudi security men's efforts in maintaining security.
He emphasized Bahrain's supportive stances toward the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting terrorism, saying that the solid historical relations bonding the two kingdoms and their people have witnessed a continuing growth in the era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud
The Minister stressed the need to intensify common actions and coordination and to move towards greater cooperation in fighting the ideology of radical extremism, which is incompatible with the Islamic principles and Arab values and traditions.
He commended the Saudi role in the fight against terrorism and in promoting Gulf security.
