Bahraini interior-shura council cooperation discussed

Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received here today the First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council Jamal Fakhro, who introduced to him the Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee Chairperson Sawsan Taqawi, and members.
Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan was also present.
Interior Minister voiced the importance of interaction and coordination for the best of the nation and citizens. He hailed the role of the Shura Council in reinforcing legislative work.
He said that the international situation and regional challenges require periodic revision of laws and legislations to protect the security of the nation and safety of citizens and residents, adding that the scourge of terrorism that imposes risks on the whole world.
They discussed topics of common interests to reinforce coordination between the Interior Ministry and the Council , in order to achieve more security and stability in Bahrain.
The delegation hailed the security and stability in Bahrain, expressing their appreciation for the efforts of the policemen and their sacrifices. They hailed their dedication in maintaining security that supports national economy.
