
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al-Safriya Palace today the Capital Trustees Board, led by its Chairman Mohammed Ali Al Khozaae.
HM the King congratulated the Capital Trustees Board Chairman and members, and wished them every success in serving the nation, the citizens and residents.
HM King Hamad commended their good efforts to develop the quality of services provided for the citizens and residents, and keenness to highlight the Capital's civilisational features, being the home to many trade, economic and financial institutions and companies.
HM the King directed the panel's chairman and members to work as a team, stressing the importance of putting forward the necessary plans and programmes to improve performance, upgrade the quality of services and revamp public facilities in the Governorate, in cooperation with the relevant sides so as to be able to achieve the expected goals.
HM the King tasked the Royal Court Minister to follow up on the needs and demands presented by the Capital Trustees Board through including them within the Government Action Plan.
"Our utmost goal is to serve the Bahraini citizens through providing them with the requirements of decent living and ensuring them the best services, especially in the health, housing, educational and social fields," he said.
HM King Hamad asserted that the efforts and expertise of the Capital Trustees Board, comprising experts, engineers, administrators and economists, would contribute to the kingdom's continuous development and progress in all fields, noting that Bahrain is strong with its people, and the competence of its citizens, and their dedication in its service.
HM the King underscored the importance of exerting more efforts to serve the Bahraini citizens and meet their needs, and launch development and service projects that enhance Bahrain's progress, while preserving its heritage and authentic traditions.
HM King Hamad valued highly the contributions of the Capital Governorate's men and women to the kingdom's building and progress, and their effective roles in all fields.
Chairman of the Capital Trustees Board Mohammed Ali Al Khozaae delivered a statement in which he extended, on behalf of the members, sincere thanks and appreciation to HM the King for receiving them.
He said the precious Royal trust conferred on them by appointing them to their posts would motivate them to do their utmost to serve the citizens and residents, and assume the responsibility of developing the Capital Governorate so as to place Bahrain among developed countries.
He said they would use their knowledge and expertise in serving municipal work in the kingdom and win the confidence of the citizens and residents.
He expressed the panel's desire to contribute effectively to the democratic march launched by HM the King, especially regarding its social, economic and cultural dimensions.
He expressed the Board's desire to revive HM the King's pioneering project of reconstructing dilapidated houses, creating typical coasts in all areas overlooking the sea and revamping public parks, particularly the Water Park.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant HM the King abundant good health and happiness, and guide him on the right path.
