
Labour Minister Jameel Mohammed Ali Humaidan met here today the Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Essam Saleh Awad.The Minister praised the efforts exerted by the Ambassador to strengthen Bahraini-Egyptian relations.He discussed with him ways of bolstering joint ties in various fields, enhancing cooperation mechanisms in the labour field and coordinating stances at local and international gatherings so as to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly countries' leaderships and peoples.He highlighted theLabourMinistry'sprogrammes and projects to develop the national workforce in order to meet the requirements of the labour market.The Labour Minister shed light on the kingdom's laws that protect the rights of national and expatriate workers alike.The Egyptian envoy lauded the kingdom's keen interest to develop cooperation with his country, praising the support allocated by the official bodies in Bahrain to the members of the Egyptian community here.He lauded the wisdom of the kingdom's leadership in addressing all issues raised at regional and international gatherings.The two sides also expressed desire to exchange successful experiences and expertise and enhance technical and vocational cooperation.
