Bahraini Organisation of Youth and Sport honours youth centres, volunteers

The General Organisation of Youth and Sport (GOYS)'s President Hesham Mohammed Al-Jowder patronized the honouring ceremony of excellent veteran administrators at youth centres.
Al-Jowder honoured 140 volunteers and youth centres: He has honoured the Sehla South Youth Centre in the category of excellent youth centre. He has also honoured excellent administrator Dr. Majid Al-Majid the Chairman of Ras Al-Rumman Youth Centre and Mansour Al-Yusuf from Abu Saibi'e Youth Centre .
Al-Jowder stressed the GOYS keenness on implementation of the leadership's directives to all volunteers who participated and dedicated their time and efforts in order to advance national clubs, pointing out the significant role of Bahraini youths in promoting the activities in youth centres. He added that this honouring has come in order to repay tribute to those who had provided excellent services to sports in Bahrain and contributed in laying solid foundations for launching Bahraini clubs towards vaster vistas of development and growth.
The UN Media Office Director Najib Friji gave a speech in which he praised the General Organisation of Youth and Sports for this ceremony which coincides with the International Day for Volunteers, stressing that volunteering is a great feature of the Bahraini community which has become an example to be followed in the region. Friji also praised huge role of volunteers in the advancement of youth centres in the Kingdom.
