
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
The two leaders lauded the success of the Kingdom's democratic experience reflected in the outstanding success of the 2014 Parliamentary and Municipal Elections, praising the massive turnout of voters and the distinguished organisation and smoothness of the electoral process.
They stressed that the elections have affirmed the choices of the Bahraini people, and consolidated the kingdom's democratic policies, political pluralism and popular participation in the decision-making process, in accordance with the highest international standards.
They also reviewed the requirements of the coming phase of national action, including the consolidation of achievements that enhance the kingdom's prosperity and improve the citizens' standards of living.
