
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has lauded the UAE’s honourable supportive stances towards the kingdom, and praised its "pivotal" role in supporting regional and global security and stability through its "balanced" policies and stances.
He hailed the UAE’s nation-building and development march, spearheaded by the Late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and is still carried on by President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
This came as HRH Premier received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the outgoing UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed Sultan Saif Al-Suwaidi.
HRH the Prime Minister lauded outstanding deep-rooted fraternal ties bonding the two countries and their brotherly people.
He affirmed that the distinguished fraternal Bahraini-UAE relations are growing steadily, at all levels, thanks to the solid historical ties bonding their leaderships and peoples, which entitled them to be role models of relations between countries.
He praised the development and progress boom currently witnessed by the UAE in various fields, thanks to its leadership, re-affirming the kingdom’s desire to bolster bilateral cooperation so as to meet the expectations of the two brotherly peoples.
HRH Premier pointed out that the Bahraini-UAE relations are going through a prosperous phase of joint cooperation, especially in the economic, trade and investment fields, noting that the two countries have increased their coordination on many GCC, Arab and international issues, with the GCC framework.
He commended the tremendous efforts exerted by Ambassador Al-Suwaidi in enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation, wishing him every success in his future diplomatic assignments.
The UAE Ambassador expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Government off Bahrain, led by HRH Premier, for its constant support and cooperation with him during his tenure, and great interest in boosting bilateral relations.
He wished the kingdom and its people further progress and prosperity, under its leadership.
