
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
HRH the Crown Prince informed HRH Premier on the results of his meeting yesterday with community leaders and key figures to discuss the outcomes of the current phase of the National Dialogue on the political theme.
HRH the Prime Minister lauded the kingdom's landmark achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in the political, economic and social fields.
He underlined the importance of consolidating the role of the existing constitutional institutions, including the bicameral Legislative Branch, being the representative of the people whose voice has to be heard and taken into consideration in all issues related to the kingdom's present and future.
The two leaders affirmed the necessity of "effective participation" in the upcoming elections, whose success requires the concerted efforts of those who are keen on national consensus as the best means to enhance the kingdom's democratic march.
