
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today a number of senior state officials and MPs.
HRH Premier stressed that democracy should be a means to safeguard top national interests, security and stability.
He affirmed that the government-parliament cooperation will be stepped up in the coming period in order to support efforts to develop the nation and upgrade it, noting that such collaboration will pave the way for the government to focus more on development programmes that aim to ensure decent living for the citizens.
He asserted that the government will carry on cooperating with the Representatives and Shura Councils in order to preserve and increase the kingdom's resources, and build on the "honourable national achievements" in the political, economic, social and services fields.
