
Public Security Chief Major-General Tariq Hassan Al-Hassan attended a ceremony marking the Officers’ Day. The Training Directorate hosted the ceremony at the Public Security Officers’ Club in a bid to enable police directorates to share experiences, exchange views and explore viable ways to deal with security cases.
Addressing the ceremony, Major-General Tariq Hassan Al-Hassan thanked the organizers of the ceremony, stressing the importance of such events as platforms to exchange expertise that contribute to promoting the performance of police work and ensuring premium security services.
Captain Ahmed Yusif Abul Fateh and Captain Alya Abdullah Ahmed gave a briefing, updating the attendees at the Officers’ Day ceremony on the staff and command course.
A batch of 56 officers from the GCC and Jordan took part in the course which started in August 2013 and concluded in June 2014 at the BDF College of Staff and Command
Captain Alya Abdullah Ahmed also gave a briefing on her research which highlighted the best criteria for nominating candidate military officers.
The Central Police Directorate outlined the most important cases it dealt with between 2011 and 2013. The directorate showed a film shedding on the case of a robbery under coercion, highlighting the procedures which enabled police to track down the perpetrators and bring them to justice
