
Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh has lauded the crucial role played by Saudi Arabia at the Arab and Islamic arenas, and its keenness on enhancing Arab unity.
He expressed the Shura Council's appreciation of the steps taken by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his government to raise and support regional issues.
Speaking as met here today the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdulla bin Abdul-Malik Al-Shaikh, Al Saleh affirmed the solid deep-rooted bilateral relations, strengthened thanks to support of the two kingdoms' leaderships, the mutual respect between the two brotherly peoples and the constant cooperation and coordination between the two governments.
He affirmed the importance of Bahraini-Saudi rapprochement and complementarity in enhancing joint GCC action.
Meanwhile, Al Saleh praised Saudi Arabia's supportive stances towards Bahrain, noting that those stances are widely appreciated and welcomed by all the citizens in the kingdom.
He valued highly the efforts exerted by the Saudi ambassador to bolster bilateral cooperation, wishing him further success.
