Bahraini shura council denounces Hizbollah secretary general's statements

The Shura Council has strongly denounced the statements of Hizbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah which are aimed at shaking regional security and stability. The council described the statements as a blatant and unacceptable interference in Bahrain's internal affairs and an encroachment on the kingdom's sovereignty.
The Shura Council underlined its categorical rejection of the statements which downplayed the constitutional and judicial systems in Bahrain. Meanwhile, it underlined full support to all measures taken by Bahrain to protect its security and citizens.
The council voiced confidence in Lebanon to take the necessary measures towards those hostile statements, stressing that awareness of the Bahraini people will always prevent sliding into divide and sedition.
