Bahraini Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim hails king’s keynote speech

Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mullah hailed the keynote speech, which was delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa in addressing "Egypt Economic Development Conference – Egypt the Future", being held at Sharm Al-Sheikh resort.
"The keynote speech highlighted key aspects which should be taken into account to confront mounting challenges and dangers unfolding in the region", he said, stressing the importance of revitalizing the economy as a vital arm to counter the scourge of terrorism and other dangers.
The Speaker said that the royal keynote address reflected Bahrain’s commitment to support pan-Arab efforts so as to consolidate security and stability in the region.
He underscored the importance of bolstering Egypt’s security as a cornerstone of the Arabian Gulf security and stability, stressing the need to activate the pan-Arab defence pact to confront any attempt to subvert the sovereignty of Arab states.
