Bahraini speaker hails Saudi pivotal role

Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla today hailed the pivotal role of Saudi Arabia as a key actor in the region. He underscored the importance of growing relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, stressing joint coordination regarding regional and international issues.
This came as he received Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdulla bin Abdulmalik Al-Sheikh, in the presence of first Deputy Speaker Ali Al-Aradi. The Speaker lauded deep-rooted historic ties, paying tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for their keenness on bolstering joint cooperation. The two sides discussed key issues of mutual interest and latest regional developments, hailing the strenuous efforts of the Saudi monarch to achieve pan-Arab reconciliation as well as the Arab and GCC unity.
