The Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research (Baseera) conducted their periodic public opinion poll about the approval rating of the prime minister. The poll was conducted on 9 and 10 September 2015, two days before the resignation of the prime minister.
The results of the poll, held two days before Mahlab left office, indicate that 53% of Egyptians believe that the prime minister’s performance is good, which is the same approval rate of Mahlab first month after his appointment as Egypt’s prime minister in March 2014.
During his time in office, just over 18 months, the public perception of Ibrahim Mahlab’s performance fluctuated. The least approval rate was 50%, which was 6 months after he took office, and the highest was 70%, which was last June.
