Best Camp Award panelists inspect camps in Bahrain

Upon the directives of the Governor of the Southern Governorate and Camping Season's High Committee's Chairman, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the 10-member arbitration panel of the HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Best Camp Award2014 carried out a series of inspection visits to 20 camps aimed to assess registered camps which fulfilled the requirements.
The arbitration panel includes the representative of the Office of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work, Youth and Sports Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), and also representatives of the Camping Services Centre, Southern Area Municipality, Southern Governorate, the General Directorate of Traffic, Civil Defence, National Guard, Health Ministry, one of the companies operating the Bahrain oilfield and the Executive Agency for the Environment.
