Border guard troops arrest 107 illegal immigrants

Border guard troops in various areas have arrested 107 illegal immigrants as part of efforts to crack down on criminal elements and smugglers, Military Spokesman Mohamed Samir said Wednesday.
Border guard troops of the Second Field Army discovered two tunnel entrances on the borderline in north Sinai and seized six packs of cannabis (bango) weighing 12kg hidden inside two gas cylinders, he said.
The Third Field Army forces seized 117 cannabis farms of a total area of around 41 feddans, he added.
The border guards also seized 50,000 tablets of Tramadol and 6,850 packs of carcinogenic cigarettes, he said
