Border guards arrest 152 illegal migrants

Border guards in the vicinity of the northern military zone arrested 152 illegal migrants from different countries.

Meanwhile, border guards in the vicinity of the Second Field Army seized 94 packs of cannabis, weighing 148.5 kg, 14 packs of hashish (8.5 kg), one block of opium, 16 cylinder-shaped blocks of heroine and 34,500 pills of Tramadol, Military ٍٍSpokesman Mohamed Samir said.

In the vicinity of the Third Field Army in Abou Redis city (South Sinai), 29 bags with 741 packs of cannabis weighing 1,482 kg were seized.

In the tunnel area of Ahmed Hamdy, a truck loaded with 93 packs of cannabis (186 kg) and a car with five packs of cannabis and five packs of opium were seized in addition to two cars loaded with 27,300 boxes of carcinogenic cigarettes were held. 

In the southern military zone, the armed forces seized three unlicensed jeeps with two automatic rifles, two sniper rifles, amounts of ammunition inside them. Also, 17 persons were arrested over illegal immigration and infiltration attempts.
