Egyptian border security personnel seized a huge amount of drugs, the military spokesman said.
The second field army personnel seized 35 kilograms of cannabis, 53,800 Tamol and Tramadol tablets and 168 carcinogenic cigarette packages, Mohamed Samir said on Tuesday.
The third field army personnel also uncovered 114 poppy farms on 43 feddans.
Also, 1,170 bango packages - weighting 2,900 kilograms - were seized.
In the northern military zone, security personnel seized 4,500 carcinogenic cigarette packages.
