The EJB branch chairman Basem el Shanawany said the talks tackled means of exchanging expertise, adding that British experts would participate in the "Estaghal" initiative in the training domain.
Alcock's accompanying delegation expressed desire to visit the rest of EJB branches across the county to stand on Egyptian industrial activities and means of offering needed services in order to boost trade exchange.
The visit came at the consul's request to contribute to Eshtaghal initiative, said the head of the EJB international relations committee.
The delegation also visited the High Institute of Engineering and Textile Technology (HIETT), Khaled Khalil said, noting that there is a proposal on establishing a farm academy for training farmers and agro-technicians.
