
The Cabinet approved a decision Monday aimed at achieving self-sufficiency in fish and exporting the surplus.
During a meeting under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, the Cabinet agreed to re-allocate an area of 107.5 feddans in west Port Said to be used in establishing aquafarming projects.
The Cabinet also agreed to re-allocate three areas measuring 3.57 feddans in Luxor to build gas stations.
It agreed to allot EGP 40 million for the import of equipment needed for establishing a model center for leather tannery in Robiki district.
