
The new cabinet convened on Thursday under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail to review a host of political, economic, social and security files.
The talks tackled means of securing staple commodities at low price in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The ministers also reviewed the government program before being referred to the parliament.
The government program aims at creating an investment-encouraging climate, reducing unemployment rates, realizing social justice and improving education and health sectors.
On Wednesday, ten new ministers and four deputy ministers were sworn in before President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
