Cabinet holds weekly meeting to discuss political, economic, social files

The cabinet held its weekly meeting on Wednesday under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail to discuss a number of political, economic, social and security files.

The meeting will tackle a number of reports on the national projects and services provided to meet the Egyptians' basic needs, in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to provide care for the low-income citizens. 

The cabinet will also discuss reports on the progress achieved in mega national projects, mainly the one-and-a-half-million feddan reclamation and the Suez Canal corridor development projects.

The premier will also review the government action program, to be submitted to the House of Representatives on March 27.
