Cabinet holds weekly meeting to probe political, economic, social files

The cabinet held its weekly meeting Thursday under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail to discuss number of political, economic, social and security files.

The get-together took up also reports on services offered to citizens, providing basic commodities with low prices with the approach of Eidul Adha and preparations for the new academic year.

The cabinet probed directives given by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the government after the new supply minister and governors took constitutional oath.

During the meeting, the government followed up projects being implemented to improve the investment atmosphere in general and the services provided to citizens.

It will also discuss a number of issues and important draft laws.
