
The Cabinet under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail reviewed a report by the supply minister on efforts to provide commodities at good quality and reasonable prices.
The supply minister, meanwhile, said that 371 consumer outlets were developed throughout Egypt.
Work is underway to establish the commercial chains project in line with initiative by President Abdel Fattah El SIsi to discuss the possibility of establishing commercial chains throughout Egypt in order to develop local trade movement, reduce prices and attain development in governorates.
Regarding the projects of establishing silos, the minister reviewed the project of establishing 25 silos funded by the UAE. The project is scheduled to be finalized in April, he added.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was also signed with the Italian side regarding the establishment of 10 silos in five areas throughout Egypt, he added.
