
Assistant Interior Minister and Cairo Security Chief Khaled Abdel Aal inspected Sunday the security services in number of the capital's neighborhoods.
Abdel Aal said that Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar gave directives to beef up security measures and secure the citizens, vital and important facilities, embassies, consulates as well as the residential areas of foreigners.
The tour of Cairo security chief included the capital's main axes besides the ring and the desert roads where he made sure the security forces are deployed.
He inspected also some checkpoints and ordered the General Administration of Cairo Traffic to spread motorcycles and cranes to deal with traffic congestion in the main axes especially at the rush hours.
Abdel Aal stressed the importance of preserving the personal safety of the security forces by wearing protective jackets.
