Cairo Security Director Khaled Abdel Aal Tuesday checked on the security services in the poll centers to make sure the work in the 819 Cairo poll centers is proceeding smoothly.
He also checked that security forces are deployed in all the vital streets and squares of Cairo.
Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar directed that the security forces be on high alert with the start of the first day of the runoff parliamentary elections to ease the voting process, Abdel Aal told MENA.
Abdel Aal asserted that the security is stable in Cairo, adding that there is a plan to secure all the important facilities and diplomatic premises.
