Cairo University to grant honorary doctorate to Saudi king

The Cairo University Council unanimously decided to grant honorary doctorate to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz given his profound and remarkable influence at the Arab and international levels.
The decision also came in appreciation of the monarch's crucial role in serving Islam and Muslims and his support to Egypt and its people.
The Saudi king also has a prominent role in supporting Cairo University by launching a project to develop the university's hospitals.
