
Interim Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaâ chaired, Saturday in Nabeul, a ceremony on the occasion of the celebration of the 58th anniversary of the National Guard.
On this occasion, Jomaâ paid a ringing tribute to the security forces, the army and customs who "thanks to their devotion, their abnegation and their professionalism, there can be no room for terrorism and for extremism in Tunisia."
In this connection, he underlined the government pledge to support the efforts of the security, military and customs forces and provide them with all necessary means to help them fully discharge their missions.
A parade of the National Guard units was organised on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of this body of interior security, with attendance of the Prime Minister, members of the government and several guests of sisterly and friendly countries.
