
Kuwait's ambassador to Egypt Salem Ghassab Al-Zamanan, has lauded efforts by the Cairo-based Kuwaiti Office for Charity Projects (KOCP), for its activities almost covering all the Egyptian governorates.
Following a visit to the KOCP, an affiliate to the Kuwaiti Zakat House on Thursday, Al-Zamanan told KUNA, that Kuwait is disposed to offering help and charity contributions worldwide, especially to the Arab countries, and Egypt in particular. He stressed the deeply-rooted bilateral ties with Cairo.
The ambassador also pointed to several projects KOCP is carrying out in Egypt, building schools, places of worship and hospitals, besides aiding university students.
For his part, KOCP director Ismail Abdullah Al-Kandari told KUNA that the ambassador's visit to the office is part of the follow-up of its activities and the projects.
