A court in Egypt sentenced a Coptic Christian teacher to six years in prison for placing anti-Islamic pictures on his Facebook page. Bishoy Kameel was also convicted of defaming Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and insulting a prosecutor, BikyaMasr.com reported Tuesday. Kameel's trial in Cairo was attended by Salafist Egyptians who held up signs and threw rocks at the transport vehicle that took him to prison. His lawyer is appealing the sentence and a different court will look into the case later this month. No details on the Facebook pictures or how he defamed Morsi were given.
