Court upholds Nassar's ban on face-veiled Cairo university lecturers

The Administrative Court upheld a decision by Cairo University President Gaber Nassar banning lecturers from wearing Niqab during classes at the university.
Nassar's decision was meant to maintain face-to-face contact between lecturers and students, a matter which is important for the educational process.
Lecturers have challenged Nassar's decision before the court over allegations that it violates the constitution and laws, but the court upheld the decision.
