Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, has sent a reply cable to Health Minister Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, thanking him and the ministry's employees for their good efforts to serve pilgrims during Hajj season of 1433H. The ministry of health provided health services to 504,071 pilgrims, while the field medicine provided medical services to 16,066 pilgrims. As many as 4,514 pilgrims were admitted to hospitals. Cardiac catheterization operations were performed for more than 463 pilgrims. Moreover, 42 open heart operations, 3112 kidney dialysis sessions, 32 endoscopic operations and 10 deliveries were performed for pilgrims during Hajj season of 1433H.
